IBM Awards SciSpike Presitigious Information Management Champion Award for Sixth Year Running

SciSpike founder Dr. Vladimir Bacvanski was named an IBM Information Management Champion for 2015, making this the sixth year in a row he has received this honor.

Dr. Bacvanski thanked IBM for this recognition, saying, “It has been a privilege working with IBM R&D teams and clients over the years on leading edge technologies for information management, and I am grateful for the recognition they bestowed with this honor”. He added, “In recent years I have focused strongly on Big Data architectures and technologies, and how they may be applied for advanced Data Analytics and the Internet of Things. With the advent of NoSQL databases and other advances, our ability to manage and utilize massive quantities of realtime data has exploded, and I am just happy to be part of that revolution. It is an exciting time.”

In his role as a technology visionary at SciSpike, Dr. Bacvanski researches the latest technologies and their application, teaches software architects and engineers, and collaborates with colleagues who design and implement custom software systems for SciSpike clients.
